This is an important article by Michelle Malkin. She's an excellent author, but by the time I got to the end of the article I was truly about to throw up - I frankly don't think that I can take these changes in our country - - not easily.
Just yesterday, I saw the apathy of the people - - I felt it. I am so eternally sad that so many of my fellow Americans can't be bothered to protect, not only their children, but themselves from tyranny. I read somewhere that each American owes 36K and change - even my 7 year old owes that - geeze here's a link

But worse than us owning money, is having to maze our way through the beauracracy of this new healthcare - like sheep! We all hate dealing with the beaucracy, and their "regulations." It's like my experience yesterday at the Chicago Federal building (230 S. Dearborn) This little waasel of a man - came up to me and asked me if I had a permit to protest the healthcare plan. I'd met all the guards, they were very nice, when I'd gone in to Burris and Durbin's office - they'd told me I was fine outside the building with my sign, but I couldn't bring it in the building. Okidoki. Anyhow, Mr. Weasel, manager at the Federal Building - came back and threatened to have the "federal police" come if I didn't get off Federal property. So, I moved all-of-seven feet over to the sidewalk....proving to a group of kids that were chatting with us that "these were really the ones that you had to watch out for...the lifetime federal employees that don't "make" anything just "take." One of them had just made $10.00 handing out flyers and I told him to give me $6.00 (60%)" for taxes...." he got the point very quickly!
